New survey on disability-based violence from Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

UNCRPD Update

The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities are preparing guidelines on the subject of disability-based violence and want to hear from all interested disabled people and/or their representative organisations to provide written contributions through this survey.

The guidelines will be based on the lived experiences of disabled people affected by violence and will aim to provide recommendations to States Parties and other duty bearers on how to address violence based on disability.

The survey is available in English and Spanish and is also available in Easy read and International Sign Language.
